CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Highway Patrol says that a woman who had been reported missing, and whose vehicle was found in Wyoming, has been located in the Pacific Northwest, and is safe.
Officials with the WHP say that on Sunday, February 23, 2020, troopers located Jordan Rae Lampus’ abandoned vehicle, along Interstate 80 east of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Troopers and other law enforcement agencies searched the area but were unable to locate Lampus. The Wyoming Highway Patrol says that they partnered with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation on the incident to look for any clues on her disappearance.

WHP says that on Tuesday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation partnered with other law enforcement agencies to investigate the missing person.
Thursday morning agencies involved were notified that Lampus was found safe and alive in Seattle, Washington.
An ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Erie Police Department in Erie, Pennsylvania.
