Officials with the Bureau of Land Management say that they and other agencies are fighting a fire of unknown size and cause west of the Wyoming community of Glenrock.
The fire has forced the closure of all lanes of traffic on US 20 near Casper, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
Traffic is blocked from milepost 172 to 166.

“Be prepared to stop, expect delays,” WYDOT said.
“The fire is approximately seven miles west of Glenrock,” says Tyson Finnicum of the Wyoming Bureau of Land Management, saying the cause is currently unknown. “We’ll have a fire investigator probably go out tomorrow and check it.”
Helicopters and a heavy engine were reported on scene.
“The situation sounds like it’s evolving pretty quickly. We’ll try to provide updates as those become available to us,” Finnicum said.
