Wyoming resident dead after rolling truck ‘end-over-end’ near Lingle

One person is dead after being ejected from a vehicle during a rollover crash.

According to a Wyoming Highway Patrol preliminary report, Caleb Brenner, 18, was heading northbound on US 85 at about 4 a.m. last Saturday when he failed to negotiate a left curve.

The vehicle left the east edge of the roadway and vaulted over a private driveway access as the driver attempted to steer left.

The vehicle started an end-over-end roll when it landed, “causing large gouge marks in the barrow pit.”

The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected during the roll, said the report.

Driver fatigue or falling asleep may be possible contributing factors, said the report.
