CASPER, Wyo. — No injuries were reported in a vehicle fire in the Brookhurst area this afternoon.
The Natrona County Fire District responded to the blaze just after noon, with the Public Safety Communications of Casper, Evansville Fire-EMS, Natrona County Sheriff’s Office and Banner Health Wyoming Medical Center assisting.
When the incident was reported, the fire had the potential to jump to a nearby building, though fire crews were able to put out the flames before that could happen. However, the vehicle was destroyed in the incident.
The fire investigator on the scene said the fire was an accident caused by a mechanical failure.
