CASPER, Wyo. — One person is dead after a rollover crash near Glendo on Monday morning.

According to a preliminary report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, a BMW X5 was southbound on Interstate 25 when the driver left the roadway onto the median after failing to negotiate a right-hand curve.

The driver overcorrected to the right, causing the vehicle to go into a driver’s-side skid across the roadway toward a borrow ditch. The vehicle then left the roadway and rolled.

The driver is identified as David Savory, 62, of Colorado. Conditions are listed as dry, and driver inattention is being investigated as a possible contributing factor. Seatbelt use is being listed by the WHP as “improper.”
