CASPER, Wyo. — A helicopter in the 37 Helicopter Squadron crashed this morning at Cheyenne Regional Airport, according to F.E. Warren Air Force Base.

The crash occurred at 10:30 a.m. while a UH-1N helicopter was conducting routine training. It experienced a hard landing, the air base reported.

“No fatalities and only non-life-threatening injuries have been reported,” the base’s news release states. “The crew is being evaluated at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.”

The air base will continue to provide updates as they become available, the release said.
