HULETT, Wyo. — One person is dead following a wreck near Hulett on Wednesday in which his vehicle flipped over multiple times.
David Thibault, 41, was driving his Nissan Frontier pickup truck northbound on US 14 at milepost 118.5, attempting to negotiate a sharp right-hand turn at around midnight. He drove off the road to the right, and then attempted to steer back onto the roadway. The vehicle began to slide sideways in a counterclockwise turn and departed the roadway to the left. The vehicle tripped and rolled several times down an embankment.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol lists driver fatigue and speed as possible contributing factors in the wreck.
