CASPER, Wyo. – An elevated walkway connecting Natrona County High School’s main building to the new Mustang Athletic and Community Center was installed on Wednesday afternoon.

The walkway was approved using existing funds from State Capital Construction money, said the Natrona County School District during a trustee meeting last March.

The bridge was built offsite and trucked to NCHS before being lifted by a crane onto new supports.

“The purpose of the raised walkway is to increase safety and security for students and staff as they move from the main building to the MACC,” the school district said last year. “Also, this will allow for more effective, efficient, and convenient transition of students and staff to and from the main building and the MACC.”
