Tate Geological Museum hosts FOX’s Emily Calandrelli

Tate Geological Museum will host Emily Calandrelli, host of FOX’s “Xploration Outer Space,” as the second presenter during the Spring Lecturer Series on Thursday, March 16 at 7 p.m. Calandrelli will present  “More Than a TV Show: Space Exploration, Science Communication, and Social Media,” during her lecture. The talk is free and open to the public inside the Wheeler Concert Hall, located in the Music Building at the Casper College.

Calandrelli earned her bachelor’s degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from West Virginia University and her master’s in aeronautics and astronautics as well as technology and policy from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She will be speaking on her life as a science communicator and her belief that social media has taken part in bringing science to the public masses.
