Dorothy Mae Burrough “Babe”

Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Burrough “Babe” will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 710 East 2nd Street, Casper, Wyoming, 1 pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019. A reception and celebration of Babe’s life will follow at the Ramada Inn, 300 West F Street, Casper, Wy.
Babe made her journey to heaven on December 30, 2018.

She was born June 25, 1930 in Starke, Florida to Handy G. Williams and Teareather E. (Shipp) LaFleur. Babe dedicated her life to caring for others, both professionally and personally. She touched many lives through her work at Wyoming Independent Living, Natrona County Public Library and Wyoming State Children’s Home. She was also a loving parent to several foster children. If you met Babe, she was instantly your friend, always there to offer a helping hand or share a meal. Her door was always open, the gathering place for family and friends. Babe took great pride in her garden, her sanctuary and favorite past-time.

She was a bold and beautiful woman and will eternally be missed by her beloved family and friends. Babe is survived by her children: Vivian Farnsworth, Mae Shipp (Carl Kaproth), Farrell Cherry, Mary (Jim) Sonesen and Reece (Marci) Burrough; grandchildren: Malik (Melissa) Hamilton, Amber Hamilton (Alan Hollo), Jeremy (Arianna) Burrough, Shelby (Chris) Frerichs, Mo (Megan) Burrough and McKenzie Burrough (Leslie Garcia); and great grandchildren: Miles, Zipporah, Parker and Jonah Hamilton, Emma Miller, Isaiah Blake, Griffey and Dempsey Burrough, Thaddeus and Theodore Frerichs, Ashton and Amarri Burrough and Jeremiah Alivia, sisters Queen Esther Albert and Margaruite DeSue.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, sisters Mamie Mathis and Evelyn Williams, infant grandson Jordan Glen, and the beloved family dog Scar.

Joe Biddlecome

On December 31, 2018 Joe Biddlecome passed away peacefully in his sleep at home.

Joe was born on June 17, 1950 in Price, Utah to Joseph William Biddlecome and Verna Grace Biddlecome-Price. Joe was raised along with his older sister Mary in Castledale, Utah.

On January 8, 1973 Joe married the love of his life Aldene “Dee” smith in Reno, Nevada. On August 16, 1974 Joe and Dee had their first child a son Robert Joesph Biddlecome. Then on August 12, 1977 they welcomed a daughter Patricia Joan Biddlecome to the family.

Joe started his long career in the heavy equipment mechanics field in 1971 and spend 26 years working at pathfinder mine in Shirley Basin, Wy and the next 21 years working for arch coal mainly at black thunder mine in Wright, Wy. In 2016 Joe retired from mining and enjoyed time at home with his wife.

Joe enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren and working his part time job with Mesa West. Joe also enjoyed wildlife and nature photography. Joe was a very intelligent likable man with a strong work ethic. Joe made numerous friends in his career at mining. But anybody who knew him well and respected him also called him a friend. he will be greatly missed.

Joe was preceded in death by both of his parents, and also his sister.

Joe Is survived by his wife of 48 years Aldene Biddlecome. He is also survived by his son Robert Biddlecome of Casper, Wy; his daughter Patricia Gregory of Wright, wy. A grandson Nathan and two granddaughters Gracie and Jolene. A great-granddaughter Echo.


Mary Ann Davis

MaryAnn Davis, age 79, passed away peacefully December 29th, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born February 3, 1939 in Casper, WY to Rose and Julian Tangney. She grew up in Thermopolis and at the age of 16 married Junior Davis. MaryAnn and Junior settled in Glenrock, were they had four children Shelly Gray, Brady Davis, Kelly Anderson, & Grady Davis.

MaryAnn was a vivacious woman who spent her time celebrating and loving her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, hosting backyard barbecues, and tending to her beautiful flower gardens.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Junior, her brother John, her sister Renee, son Brady, daughter Kelly and step son Rich. She is survived by her sister Rita Downs, brother Jim (Sheila) Tangney, daughter Shelly, son Grady (Velvet) Davis, son in law Curt Anderson and their families. MaryAnn had 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 5th, 2019 at 11am at St. Louis Catholic Church in Glenrock, WY. Inurnment will follow services and a reception after that at the Church.


Jack R. Bertagnolli, 80, of Bar Nunn, Wyoming, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019.

He is survived by daughters, Kimi (Tad) De Felice of Columbia, MO; and Karla Green of Pine Bush, NY; granddaughters, Lauren (Ryan) Crystal, Danielle De Felice, Cassidy Green, Desiray Green and Rayanne Green; brother, Joe Bertagnolli; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Judith Bertagnolli.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Oregon Trail State Veteran’s Cemetery.
