January C.R.C. escapee taken into custody in Casper

A recent reported escapee from the Casper Re-Entry Center has been taken into custody.

According to Law Enforcement Records, Colton Michael Decroo was taken into custody At approximately 8:20 pm, February 1st. Records further indicate that the arrest took place on the 4400 block of East 2nd Street.

Sheriff’s officials say that DeCroo, age 28, failed to return to the CRC on Jan. 25th after a scheduled outing. Media reported the escape on January 28th.

DeCroo was reportedly serving a sentence on a Parole Sanction. He was originally convicted of felony Shoplifting in Campbell County in 2014.

Decroo was booked on a hold for the Wyoming Department of Probation and Parole, and for a Criminal Warrant.
