CASPER, Wyo. — On July 3, Wyoming Bail Agency posted that they would not be approving or providing any DWUI bail bonds for the July 4th holiday around Wyoming in an effort to take a stand against drunk driving.
The agency turned down five calls yesterday, three of which occurred by 4:30 pm and two that came later in the evening, according to Jason Nobles from Wyoming Bail Agency. Two of the calls have already been addressed this morning.
Nobles says they receive an average of 10 to 15 calls regarding DWUIs each month in the Casper area, so the holiday numbers are a noticeable change of pace.
