The bulk of that funding would come from the state at a projected $152,996,934.
The proposed budget’s general fund sits at an estimated $218,105,027. The district’s annual budget recommendation report says that most general fund revenue comes from the state and from local property taxes.
Revenues are projected to dip from the estimated actual revenues from the 2018-2019 school year:
Total general fund expenditures in the proposed budget would be an increase over previous years if actual spending ends up matching the projections. The projected expenditures total $199,988,436. That is up about $6 million from the expenditures authorized by the 2018-2019 budget, which was set at $193,103,672.
But the estimated actual expenditures from last year were $179,917,397.
