CASPER, Wyo. — The Natrona County School District Board of Trustees have approved the new fiscal year 2019-2020 budget.
They did so during their Wednesday, July 10 meeting.
NCSD teacher Tanya Harrison spoke at the meeting and said that teachers are “very much in favor” of the school board’s decision to eliminate the need for parents and guardians to purchase school supplies and pay classroom fees.

She added that teachers just want to make sure this decision is reviewed at the end of the school year in case of any unforeseen issues.
Gail Shoenberg spoke at the meeting, thanking the trustees for the inclusive way the budget process was handled.
Trustee Dave Applegate said he was pleased with the way the new budget will fund capital projects in the district.
