CASPER, Wyo. — Former City Councilman Keith Goodenough is looking to rejoin the Casper City Council.
He told the City Council that he would like to fill the Ward III vacancy left by Councilman Chris Walsh’s resignation.
City Manager Carter Napier said during the Council’s pre-meeting on Tuesday that three people have applied to fill the vacancy. Whether Goodenough was one of these candidates is unclear, since Napier did not reveal the names of the candidates during that pre-meeting.

Goodenough said that he has moved to the east side of town since his last time on the Council, meaning he now resides in Ward III and is eligible to seek the position.
“I’m looking forward to interviewing with you,” he said. “I’ve been around a long time and I hope you don’t hold that against me.”
