CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper City Council is close to giving final approval to annexing the Green Valley Mobile Home Park into Casper.
They would need to approve an annexation report and vote to pass the annexation on third reading at their Sept. 17 meeting.
The council reviewed an annexation report prepared by city staff during their Tuesday, Sept. 10 work session.

A summary of that report shows that the annexation would add about 260 people to Casper.
One reason city staff has been recommending annexations is to boost Casper’s population ahead of the upcoming 2020 United States Census.
