CASPER, Wyo. — The City of Casper will provide $540,000 to the Casper-Natrona County Health Department during fiscal year 2019-2020.
The city council approved allocating this money out of the general fund during their Tuesday, Sept. 17 meeting.
“This allocation will pay for professional services,” City Clerk Fleur Tremel said in a memo. “The funding will also be used to provide administration of Casper-Natona County Health Department.”

Professional services at the health department include the following:
- Adult health programming (including medical case management)
- Environmental health programming (including health inspections)
- Maternal and child health programming (including prenatal and postnatal home visits)
- Disease prevention programming (including tuberculosis control, travel medicine, immunizations, family planning, sexually transmitted disease prevention and treatment)
