CASPER, Wyo. — A 56 year-old male was transported by Classical Air Medical to the Memorial Hospital of Carbon County after rescue efforts located him near Jack Creek south of Rawlins.
Kevin McDonald had been hunting alone and became lost. Colorado State Patrol notified the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office at about 12:30 am Thursday, Oct. 17.
McDonald complained of feeling weak and was without water and food, the CCSO says.

CCSO Deputy Darren Willis and Encampment Search and Rescue members responded along with Classical Air Medical.
McDonald was located at about 2:30 am and flown to the hospital.
