CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper Police Department has issued a statement in regards to a Thursday afternoon are law enforcement vehicle pursuit of a male suspected in connection with recent vehicle and gun thefts.
The chase ended when the suspect vehicle hit a tree near 11th and Wolcott.

Around 3:30 pm today, Thursday, October 24th, 2019, the Casper Police Department along with the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office and Mills Police Department responded to an area of Mills to arrest a suspect involved in multiple car thefts, auto burglaries, stolen guns and robbery crimes in our community.
Upon responding, the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.
The multi-jurisdictional response followed the vehicle as it disobeyed numerous traffic signals in an effort to elude law enforcement.
The vehicle ultimately crashed in the area of 11th and Wolcott in Casper. The two occupants were transported to Wyoming Medical Center with minor, non-life threatening injuries.
The male suspect has been arrested on multiple felony-level crimes. A female person of interest whom was also in the vehicle will be interviewed in regard to her involvement.
No law enforcement officers, law enforcement vehicles or citizens were injured as a result of this incident. One citizen vehicle did sustain minor damage.
This is an ongoing and active investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
