UPDATE: I-80 between Evanston and Lyman is again open.
CASPER, Wyo. — Sections of several Wyoming roadways are closed as of 9 am Tuesday, Oct. 29 with black ice advisories on additional highways.
I-80 is closed between Evanston and Lyman “due to winter conditions,” according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.

WYDOT estimates that section of I-80 will reopen in 4-6 hours.
There are black ice advisories for sections of I-80 near both Laramie and Arlington also in effect.
I-25 between Glenrock and Casper and between Cheyenne and Exit 29 are open, but also have black ice advisories in place.
Other closures include:
- Cody area:
- US-14, US-16 and US-20 between East Gate of Yellowstone and Pahaska
- Evanston area:
- US-189 between Evanston and I-80 Exit 18
- Laramie/Saratoga area:
- WY 130 between Mirror Lake and Green Rock and between Mirror Lake and Mile Marker 48, Eastbound Closure Gate
