CASPER, Wyo. — As wildfires burn north of San Francisco, astronauts are keeping an eye from space.
NASA shared the above image captured by Astronaut Andrew Morgan.
“From the International Space Station I was able to catch these pictures of the California wildfires burning north of the Bay Area,” Morgan said in NASA’s Wednesday, Oct. 30 Facebook post. “Thinking of the people who have lost their homes and the brave first responders on the front lines protecting them.”

Montana sent a number of fire crews when California issued a mutual aid request to help combat the fires.
