CASPER, Wyo. — A street and sewer improvements project will include the reconstruction of Spruce Street to David Street in Casper. Curbs, sidewalks, and ADA accessible ramps will be included in the reconstruction where space provides.

The City of Casper have selected a firm to conduct the redesigns for the project and to provide bidding services to seek a contractor to carry out the work of the project.

The city council approved a $63,400 contract with WLC Engineering & Surveying to carry out the redesigns and bidding services.

The project will also include upgrades to the storm sewer system. New catch basins will be added and the “undersized” storm sewer main will be “upsized.”

A manhole sewer cover and a failing section of the sewer main will be replaced in one section of the project.

Optional One-Cent No. 16 sales and use tax dollars will be used to pay for the contract.

Further details are available in the city council’s work packet.
