Hiphop superstar and businessman Kanye West is donating $2 million to a college fund for George Floyd’s daughter, according to news sources.
TMZ says the fund will fully cover tuition for Floyd’s daughter, six-year-old Gianna. Floyd’s video-recorded death during a Minneapolis police arrest has sparked protests around the country.
TMZ says West is also donating money to legal teams for Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and Floyd, along with donations to several black-owned businesses in his hometown of Chicago and around the country that have been impacted by unrest.

Arbery, who was black, was ambushed and shot as he jogged in Brunswick, GA., in February. Three white men were arrested in his death.
Taylor was an EMT who was shot in March after three officers entered her Kentucky apartment by force as she slept. The FBI is investigating.
Last year West purchased a large private ranch near Cody, Wyo., and said he intends to manufacture some of his shoe line in the state. He has held outdoor church services in Cody, recorded his album “Jesus Is King” there and has purchased another ranch in Greybull.
