CASPER, Wyo — Occasions By Cory will be hosting 3 nights of their special summer edition of Dinner! and a Laugh! beginning Thursday, June, 25th and running through Saturday, June 27th. The event, for ages 21+ and up, will feature several Denver-area comedians and be held at their new location on Wolcott street.
Tickets for the event range from $45-55 and can be bought on their website here. The menu for the evening includes Bacon Ranch Chicken & Crunchy Pork Loin Chop, Cheesy Potato Casserole, Grilled Seasons Veggies, Housemade Wyoming Coleslaw, Funnel Cakes, and Fresh Buttery Popcorn.
The headliner for the events, Sam Tallent, has for the last decade performed more than 40 weekends per year across America, Canada, and France. He has been showcased by Comedy Central and VICELAND, and he was hand-selected by Will Smith for his new stand-up series, This Joka.
His writing has also appeared in Birdy Magazine and on Vice.com, and his debut novel “Running The Light” premiered in 2020. He currently lives in Denver with his wife and dog.

Steve Vanderploeg is a comedian, writer, and improviser based in Denver, CO. He produces a series of brewery themed comedy shows and a podcast known as Rotating Tap, which includes awards such as Westword’s Readers Choice for Best Comedy Night in Denver.
Steve is also a regular at the world famous Comedy Works where he often opens for nationally touring headliners, and has performed at over two dozen comedy festivals across the country including multiple appearances on the High Plains Comedy Festival, 208 Comedy Festival, and Rogue Island Comedy Festival.
Christie Buchele is an up-and-coming standup comic from Denver, CO. She has made a name for herself by the heart-wrenching and hilarious realities of being a woman with a disability.
Christie has been featured on VICELAND’s Flophouse, Hidden America with Jonah Ray, Laughs on Fox, and First Look on NBC. She has also performed at the Limestone Comedy Festival in Bloomington, the High Plains Comedy Festival, and the 208 Comedy Festival.
