Burlesque troupe hosting Rocky Horror at Backwards Distillery

(authorized by Concord Theatricals)

CASPER, Wyo. — The cult gothic musical parody will be screened in Casper at Backwards Distilling Company in Mills.

There will be two showings on Sunday, October 24. The first showing is at 5:00 p.m., and the doors open at 4:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 p.m for the 8:30 show.

General admission is $15 and prop bags with toilet paper, newspaper and rubber gloves will also be available for $5 (no rice or squirt guns, due to restrictions in the facility).

Dressing up is “highly encouraged,” said Fathom Swanson, Keyhole’s founder.

The event is sponsored by Casper-based burlesque outfit (and fellow purveyors of the sensuous and scandalous) Keyhole Peepshow. Members of the group have already flaunted their affinity for the cult classic by portraying Tim Curry’s Frank-N-Furter at the group’s shows.

Keyhole members will enliven the major musical numbers with their portrayals for the floor show (Swanson will be playing Trixie).

Backwards Distillery is located at 158 Progress Circle in Mills. Tickets are available here, and are expected to sell quickly.
