CASPER, Wyo. — Fall is well and truly here, and there’s no better sign of that than the temperatures that are continuing to steadily decline throughout the area.

Today’s high temperature is 64, with highs in the days to come ranging from the high 60s to low 70s. Meanwhile, the low temperatures range from the mid-40s to low 30s. Today’s low is 36.

Meanwhile, those looking to enjoy the changing color of the leaves and spend time outdoors are in luck, as the coming days are almost all expected to include clear, sunny skies. The exception is Tuesday, which should see a slight chance of showers throughout the day.

“Other than patchy fog and low clouds early, today will be mostly sunny and mild,” said a tweet by the National Weather Service in Riverton. “Sunday looks even nicer with comfortably warm temperatures.”

“Pleasant early fall weather is in store today, and it will be a beautiful and warm fall weekend with ample sunshine and light winds,” the NWS also posted on Friday.

Today and Sunday will each see moderate winds rolling in, though winds are expected to pick up on Monday with wind gusts as high as 23 mph.

After Tuesday, during which Casper will see a 50% chance of scattered showers, the skies will clear up again, with the forecast returning to sunny days for the remainder of the week.
