CASPER, Wyo. — A man shot during a dispute earlier this month in Evansville remains in stable condition this week at a medical facility in Utah, Evansville Police Chief Mike Thompson told Oil City News.
Interviews have been conducted with both parties and investigators are still documenting the circumstances of the dispute for submission to the district attorney’s office to determine whether charges will be filed in the case.
County and state law enforcement agencies responded to the scene at an apartment on Holmes Street in Evansville on the evening of May 9 after a shots fired call.
The suspected shooter was taken into custody. The man shot was taken to Banner Wyoming Medical Center and later transported via life flight to Utah, Chief Thompson said.
