MILLS, Wyo. — The City of Mills is offering people a one-time chance to buy books from its former library this weekend.
The Sept. 1–2 used book sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days in the Bob Goff Memorial Library building at 425 Morgan Ave.
“The City of Mills Library has closed permanently, so the city would like to share books and literacy with the community,” said Sabrina Kemper, the City of Mills community development director, by email.
People attending the Friday sale will pay a $20 admission for a first-choice privilege. Shoppers are admitted free on Saturday. Purchases are cash-only.
“We appreciate everyone’s hard work and help with the library over the years,” Kemper said. “We look forward to our next venture with the city-owned building.”
