CASPER, Wyo. — If spending one day learning leadership skills, feeling inspired about life and upping your physical and mental health sounds enticing, you may want to register for INSPIRE WYou, planned for Sept. 27 in Casper.
Sponsored by Natrona County University of Wyoming Extension, the Wednesday event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Tate Pumphouse, 1775 W. 1st St. A $40 per person fee includes lunch, snacks and a chance to win a door prize. Space is limited to 50 people. Purchase a ticket by Sept. 20 at Eventbrite.
INSPIRE WYou is another way to activate the community with new UW Extension events, according to Joddee Jacobsen. The UW community vitality and health educator is also involved in organizing Wyoming Walks, a recently implemented University of Wyoming Extension series that emphasizes health, wellness and learning. Additional Wyoming Walks are planned Sept. 18 and Oct. 2.
INSPIRE WYou Sept. 27 will focus on leadership, health and inspiration while offering participants a chance to network with like-minded people.
Attendees will feel rejuvenated and encouraged in their work and personal life, Jacobsen said.
“Discover who you are and where you’re going,” a promotional flyer states. “You make a difference in everything you do. Don’t risk burnout. Balance your personal and work life by making yourself a priority — invest in you.”
Local inspirational speakers are:
- Trisha Henricksen, Prana coach at Fit24 and Spruce Beauty Bar owner in Casper.
- Dr. Nina Pridham, chiropractor at HealthSource of Casper.
- Nicholas Whipps, Casper College Veteran and Military Student Services coordinator.
