The City of Casper has announced the closure of section of major thoroughfare in Casper.
Due to a broken power line, 2nd Street has been closed between Country Club Road and Sun Drive. Repairs are taking place in the area. Anticipated repair time is between two and four hours.
The city is asking people to avoid this area until repairs are complete.
