(UPDATE 6/23/17 5:45 pm): Photos from the scene of the crash have been added to the bottom of this post.
Casper Police are saying that at approximately 2:30 pm, Friday June 23d, officers responded to a crash near the area of West 13th street and Southwest Wyoming Boulevard.
Details are few at this time but police confirm that it was a two-car collision. Officers on scene declined to release any information about possible injuries.
As of 5:00 pm, Wyoming Bouldevard from Fairside Road to West 13th street was closed to traffic. “We know this will be a problem during rush hour traffic,” says Officer Justin Edberg.
Officers encourage planning alternate routes and avoiding the area. Edberg said that there is no ETA for closing up the crash site and re-opening the road, and that it could be a matter of hours.
Further details will be released after the crash investigation is completed.
