Jerry Sunderland passed away peacefully on September 23, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming
He is survived by his high school sweetheart Mid, married 65 years. His children, Susan Kurt, and Scott, his 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

John L. Shumard Sr., 68, passed away on September 22, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming. He was born on July 22, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Abraham Lincoln Pulliam Jr., 68, passed away on September 24, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming. Services are being planned for a later date in Fontana, Kansas. He served in the United States Marine Corps.
LaVera Catherine Vassos (Gustin)
Born March 25th 1936 in Broadwater, NE daughter of Aaron Sidney Gustin and Mildred Gilgren (Stuart).
She grew up in Dalton, Bridgeport, and North Plate, NE. attending school in Dalton, Bridgeport and North Plate. LaVera received her GED and a 2 year business degree in 1967 through CWC College in Rock Springs, WY. On May 15th, 1953, she married Ted Vassos at The St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bridgeport, NE. In 1964, the family moved to Rock Springs, WY where they pioneered the “Coast to Coast” store. In 1971 the family moved to Riverton, WY where they owned and operated The Arctic Circle Drive-In, Mad Greek Drive-In and TJ’s Drive-In in Shoshoni, WY for 27 years. Ted and LaVera renewed their vows at the GreekOrthodox Church on February 16th 1967. LaVera and her husband Ted retired in 1997 and moved to Casper, WY and wintered in Overton, NV.
LaVera loved listening to Ted’s music and him writing his songs, fishing, hunting with her best friend, Ted. They worked side by side for 63 years. She loved visiting with friends, and new friends, devoting time with family.
Survivors include, three sisters, Roberta Longtine of Casper, LaVon Byrnes of Australia, and Vicky Stiteler of Salem, OR. Daughters Irene Kiser of Las Vegas, NV. Ilene Phillips of Casper. 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, step-father, brother and sister.
In keeping with her request, her graveside memorial service will be held in Bridgeport, NE for immediate family.
