Grew up in Midwest WY and Graduated from Midwest High School in 1972, worked most of his life in the Salt Creek Oilfield and eventually owning his own Roustabout Service Ragsdale and Ragsdale Contracting. Enjoyed fishing in earlier years when he could, and spending time with friends and family.

Graveside services at 10am on Saturday April 27th at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Tracy Sutherland officiating; followed by a reception gathering with Pot Luck style lunch at Wyoming Health Fairs located at 115 S. Elm Street. Side dishes and desserts are welcomed. Brisket and other sides will be provided.
Peter G.”Bud” Moens passed on April 21, 2019. He was born June 24, 1930 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the first son of Frank and May Moens, one of 5 children.
He attended school in Grand Rapids, he spent 4 years in the U.S Navy, 2 years in Boston and 2 years aboard the Franklin D. Roosevelt and was Honorably Discharged in 1951.
After graduating from Coyne Electrical School in Chicago, he moved to Wyoming in 1953, and was employed by Well’s Music Co. as a radio and T.V. technician for 8 years, before moving to Casper Electronics for 6 years. In 1953, he also married Darline M. Henderson of Midwest, WY in the First Presbyterian Church of Casper, WY.
In 1961, he established Bud’s TV Inc, and operated his business for 25 years before retiring in 1986.
Bud loved his family, gardening, fishing and cherry pie. Baseball was his favorite sport and he coached little league for 8 years, and was known to many as “Uncle Bud”. He dedicated 10 years to giving back to other Veterans by volunteering as a driver for the DAV Van, driving to Cheyenne & back every Friday.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #42, Eastern Star, Rainbow Chapter in Casper and the Santa Barbara Masonic Lodge #159.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, all of his siblings (Elanore, Verta, Francis & Harry ) and both of his sons, Gordon and Bruce. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Darline, two daughters Brenda Petersen(Glenn) Linda Glover(Tony ) Grandchildren: Erika, Kevin, Jory, Sarah, Alex and Nikolas and Great grandchildren: Lia, Logan and Brodie.
A memorial will be held on May 18th at 12:00pm at “The Church” 1700 Fairgrounds Road, Casper, WY 82604.
