Gloria Yvonne Boyce

Gloria Yvonne Boyce: July 12, 1927 ~ June 16, 2020 (age 92)

Gloria Yvonne Gould Boyce, 92, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2020 at the Kloefkorn Hospice Home.

    Gloria was born on July 12, 1927 to Clarence and Walthea Gould in The Dalles, Oregon. Her father moved to Casper for a job as the manager of the JC Penneys. Gloria went to the Colorado Women’s College and graduated with a bachelors in fine arts.

     She married the love of her life, Vernon Boyce, on June 25, 1950 and enjoyed almost 70 full years of marriage. Together they ran the Tastee Freeze in Casper from 1961 to 1980 and enjoyed their time there together immensely. 

      Gloria loved going to her archeology club and her mended hearts club. She loved rocks and had a passion for ancient history. She loved to take walks and look for neat rocks. She loved her cats and dogs they had throughout her life. She also very much enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandkids.

      Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Gaye Berg and her brother, Clarence Theodore (Ted) Gould. 

     She is survived by her loving husband, Vernon Boyce. Her son, Cougar and Jennifer Boyce, and her three loving grandkids, Kristopher, Marcus and Bella Boyce and her loving dog Sheena. As well as many neices and nephews.

     She was extremely loved and will be truly missed by her friends and family.

A special thank you to Wyoming Medical Center and Central Wyoming Hospice for such great care they gave her towards the end.

There will not be any services held per Gloria’s wishes.

Frank Melvin Hack

Frank Melvin Hack: 1944 – 2020

Frank Melvin Hack, age 76, of Evansville, passed away June 10, 2020 at his home. Frank was born February 26, 1944 in San Pedro, California to Clyde and Leona (Skala) Hack. He was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for the majority of his life. He enjoyed fishing and had a love for animals and his family.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife of 57 years, Linda Marie Hack and his oldest son, Frank Hack. He is survived by his son, Bill (Angela) Hack, Daughter, Debbie (Jeffrey) Hilton, daughter, Tammy (Danny) Ashley, Daughter, Karen (Brad) Newcombe, son, Joe Stemkowski, sister, Pat Washcheck, sister, Barbra (Bud) Lesher, 20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family received guests Monday, June 15, 2020 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Newcomer Casper Chapel. Funeral Services began on Monday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home followed by burial at Highland Cemetery, Casper.


Pat N. Neff

Pat N. Neff: 1947 – 2020

Pat Nils Neff, age 72, of Bar Nunn, passed away June 2, 2020 at his home. Pat was born July 12, 1947 in Liberal, Kansas to Charles and Iva (Usrey) Neff. He married Tracy Van Patten on August 25, 1990. He was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the majority of his life. He loved his yard, spending time with his son fishing, woodworking, working on cars – mainly his 65 Chevy, and spending time with his family and granddaughter.

In addition to his parents, Pat was also preceded in death by his brother, Buddy and sister Ester.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy Neff, son, Quaid, son, Pat D., daughter, Kandy, 5 granddaughters, and 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Casper Humane Society in Pat ‘s memory.


Donna Jean Hicks

Donna Jean Hicks: 1932 – 2020

Donna Jean Hicks, age 88, of Casper, passed away June 4, 2020 at Central Wyoming Hospice. Donna was born May 25, 1932 in Burke, South Dakota to Wesley and Mary (Small) Greer. She graduated from Greybull High School. She retired from Natrona County Memorial Hospital. Donna was a member of Church of God of Prophecy. Donna liked being with her family, going on adventures, and spending time with her kitties. She enjoyed going for walks, baking, embroidery and playing games. Donna was a caregiver for her parents in the last days of their lives and loved being in the foster grandparent program.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Mary Greer, brother, Curtis Greer, and her loving husband of 20 years, Robert Hicks. She is survived by her daughter, Dee (Timothy) Thoma, daughter, Gail (Derek) Dahlman, son, Chuck (Penny) Ballard, sister, Sharon Gunderson, brother, Jim Greer, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews

Memorial Services will be held at Church of God of Prophecy on August 8th at 2:00 pm.
