Sylvia Sherril “Skip” Garber: 1939 – 2020
Sylvia Sherril “Skip” Garber passed away November 18, 2020 at Shepard of the Valley nursing home, at the age of 81.

She was born October 16, 1939 in Douglas, Wy, to Fred and Barbara Schilling, the oldest of four children.
In 1956 Sylvia married John F. Garber by John’s grandfather, Rev. Frank Garber of Cheyenne, WY. Sylvia raised three daughters and was a stay at home mom until they left home. She then ventured out into the workforce.
Sylvia worked many interesting jobs that she enjoyed. She then settled into keeping the books for her husband’s construction company.
Sylvia was a member of the DOES, enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing and spending time with her husband. She retired in 2002 and then spent the winter with her husband, at their home in Yuma, AZ and the summer at their home in Casper, WY.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Nancy Kalanui.
She is survived by her husband, John F. Garber; daughters, Tanya Weant, Carol Polter, and Johnna Richardson; brother, Buck Schilling; sister, Aloha Laurenz; four grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 12 pm until time of service at 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 710 East Second, Casper, WY 82601. A private graveside service will take place at Wyoming Memorial Gardens.
Pauline J. “Jean” Blowers: 1938 – 2020
Pauline “Jean” Blowers, 82, of Torrington, Wyoming formerly of Casper passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 6, 1938 in Cortland, NY to Robert and Loleta Freer. She met the love of her life, Lyle Blowers and they married on her birthday, September 6, 1957. Together they had three children, Tina, Debbie and Daniel.
Jean favorite time in life was the time she gave Griener Ford working with the team doing cookies and coffee.
Jean leaves behind her best friend and companion, Lady Bug, her service dog of 10 years.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lyle; children, Tina Mason of Torrington, Debbie (Andy) Steplock of Casper, and Daniel Blowers of Torrington; grandchildren, Richard (Christopher) Bates, Troy Hale, Brandee (Jeff) Badley, Robert (Danelle) Blowers, Cory Steplock and Amanda Blowers; great grand-daughters, Kalynn Hale and Ayla ; great grand-son, Braylnn; many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Newcomer Casper Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s name may be made to the Meals on Wheels or Jason’s Friends in her memory.
Evelyn M. Rayburn: December 24, 1940 ~ November 18, 2020 (age 79)
Evelyn Maxine Miller-Rayburn, 79 years old, of Casper, Wyoming passed away on November 18, 2020 at Wyoming Medical Center. Evelyn was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Marjorie and Burton Miller on December 24, 1940. She attended high school in Wheatland, Wyoming until graduation. She went on to be a nurse’s aide and worked in Wheatland. She continued her career as a CNA at Poplar Living Center after moving to Casper. She then met and married Delbert Rayburn. They were married for 51 years. In that time they were blessed with two children, Annette and Scott.
Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her roses and camping with her family in their RV. She was a long-time member of Mountain View Baptist Church where she attended faithfully. Everyone noticed Evelyn’s beautiful, infectious smile which radiated from her beautiful soul. She was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Delbert Rayburn; her children, Annette Rayburn and Scott Rayburn (Angela); her grandchildren, Skyler Larson, River DuLa, Dominic Rayburn, Andrew Rayburn, Megan Saulsbury and Marcus Manzanares; great grandchildren, Dayton Rayburn, Hunter Haugen, Scotty and Serenity Rayburn; nephews, Norman and Troy Rayburn; and her cousin and best friend, Cleo Briner.
Evelyn was preceeded in death by her parents; her aunt, Verda Briner; and great grandsons, Ryatt Rayburn and Rayden Rayburn.
