Danny Lee Pickett: 1956 – 2020
Danny Pickett, born in Casper, Wyoming, age 64, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Sunday November 22, 2020. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 28th, at Trinity Lutheran Church 1240 S. Missouri, with Pastor Jon Olson Officiating. Visitation with Danny’s family prior to service starting at 1:00 PM, at the church.

Danny was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church, “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved,” Mark 16:16. He attended Kelly Walsh High School and Casper College. Danny’s first job was at the A&W. Later Danny was a master carpenter and helped build several buildings in Casper. He was a great bridge player and achieved his Life Master.
Those who knew Danny will remember him for having a kind heart and helping others in need.
Danny is survived by two children, Jason (Deanne) Pickett & Lindsey (Chris) Johnson. His 5 grandchildren, Mikey Coyle 15 years old, Amari 14 years old, Deja 4 years old, Lexus 25 years old & Keanu 14 years old: He is also survived by his mother, Bubbles Pickett; brothers, Kelly, and Bryan (Dolly) Pickett; sisters, Patty (Jim) Scott, Joy (Jack) Hampton, Kim (Jim) Mallorey, and Dorothy (Rick) Reimann; also numerous aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Donnie Pickett.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
During these pandemic times, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Danny’s name to Trinity Lutheran Church and/or the Wyoming Rescue Mission in Danny’s name.
Steven Allen “Steve” Yurko: 1956 – 2020
Steven Allen Yurko, 64, of Mills, Wyoming, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020.
He was born August 28, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Steven and Mary (Maryo) Yurko. He was a graduate of Kenston High School and attended the University of Kentucky.
Steve married Michele Buhite on June 6, 1988 in Ravenna, Ohio. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his son, Steven E. (Lauren) Yurko of Evansville, WY; his grandson, Paxton Yurko; his sister, Patricia Yurko; his twin sister, Stephanie Rauch; and his brother, Edward Yurko all of Ohio.
Steve enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Cremation is planned. Private family services will be held. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions in Casper is assisting the family.
Ronald “Ron” Evans: 1943 – 2020
Ron has gone to service with The Lord and his suffering has ended. He was a unique individual. He was awed by nature and loved to be in the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and hiker. His keen mind was a storehouse of knowledge on the subjects of biology, geography, and geology. He was outgoing, friendly, and willing to share his knowledge with those around him.
Before retirement in Florida he was President of Cookbook Publishers, Inc. Lenexa, KS. He then moved on to have a tour home and Bed and Breakfast, The Queen Anne Mansion, in Eureka Springs, AR for 20 years. Before his passing he had moved with his wife, Mary Lou to Casper, WY to be closer to his Daughter and Son-in-law, Heather and Shane Carr and their children, Noah, Micah, and Jonathan.
He is also survived by his brothers, Dennis Evans (Katie), and Mark,Reynolds Jr.(Gretchen) and his sister Carol Jean McMurphy (Larry)
Those who knew Ron will miss his stories and remembrances. They were always told in his booming voice with gusto.
