Being a graduate from Ohio State University and Marquette University allowed him to run a successful oral surgery practice in Casper with his partner, Robert Hageman for 33 years.
He was married and preceded in death to Marjie Faye Smith. They raised one son, Robert, and one daughter, Stephanie.
Bob had a passion for hunting and fishing. He spent several years adding to the “trophy room.” The greatest of his hunting accomplishments was harvesting the Kodiak Brown Bear in 1975 that, at the time, was 94th in the world. He loved sharing his world hunting stories to anyone who came to admire all of the mounts on the walls.
He and Marge traveled to Spain, Africa, and many other places to follow this passion. He became more fond of fishing after retirement spending time at Alcova and Pathfinder. The love and time he spent with his two grandchildren, Toby and Sophia, was immeasurable and definitely something they will always treasure!
Per Bob’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of life will be planned at a later time.
