1983 was a life changing year for Marc and the rest of his family. His father, Richard “Dick”, was lost on March 21, 1983 in a tragic fire and the loss left a giant hole in Marc’s life. He missed his dad every day.

In May of 1984, Marc married his first wife Polly Durst and they welcomed their daughter, Chelsea Hana Moore on July 11th, 1988. They would later divorce but remained friends and partners in raising their daughter throughout the years.

Marc married his second wife, Tiffany (White) Moore in June of 1992. Together they welcomed their first son, Cooper on October 11th, 1993. Cooper was a bright light for his parents, and his whole family. Just three years later, Tiffany would give birth to their second son, Casey Michael on May 24th, 1996. Casey’s life was a short one, on the 26th of May, just 2 days after being born, he passed away at a hospital in Denver. This loss was a tragedy that Marc never truly recovered from. Tiffany and Marc would later divorce.

From October, 2018 to 2020 Marc was married to Lori Carr. Their time together was short, but he was always able to make her laugh and they remained friends.

Marc lived in Douglas from 1975 until his last day on earth, Wednesday, February 10th, 2021. He had many friends, most of which knew him for most of his life. He loved the small-town community, was always willing to help someone in need. Would give you the shirt he was wearing if he knew you needed it more. Throughout his years here, he could be found doing many activities of which he enjoyed. You might’ve found him deep in the mountains on a snowmobile in the winter, or searching for buried treasure with his metal detector in the summer months. He loved bikes, Harley Davidson’s and cars. He was good with his hands and full of laughter. He was always listening to music, he loved music. Songs for when he was happy, or hurting, thriving or struggling. He loved music.

Marc held different jobs throughout his life, most of which, in the oil and gas industry. Arguably, his favorite job was working for Knighten Well Service, where he worked for Curt Knighten. He loved Curt deeply and Curt loved him.

Marc took on a huge role with his little brother, Kenny, after the loss of their father. Kenny was young and Marc wanted to teach him all that he knew. He took Kenny everywhere and passed on any knowledge he felt important to his little brother. They always remained close.

Marc was little brother to Keliann and big brother to Heather, he was nephew to many, uncle to more. He was a son; he was a father. He was a friend. Marc was an important person to so many people. He will be missed. Forever.

He is survived by his children, Chelsea Moore (John York) of Casper; Cooper Moore of Port Orchard Washington; his mother, Betty J. Moore of Douglas; sisters, Keliann Schmidt of Casper and Heather Moore (Mark Murphy) of Douglas; his brother, Kenny (Laura) Moore of Douglas; many nieces and nephews; and aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Frankie Conner; paternal grandparents, Basil and Christine Williams; father, Richard E. Moore; and his infant son, Casey Michael Moore.
