Timothy H. “Tim” Clark: 1952 – 2022
Timothy H. Clark, 70, of Worland, Wyoming, died Saturday, November 19, 2022, in Casper, Wyoming.
Timothy (“Tim”) H. Clark passed away on November 19, 2022. He was born on February 26, 1952, to Frank Bentley (“FB”) Clark and Frances Delker Clark in Worland, Wyoming. He was the oldest of three children. He attended school in Worland, where he participated in many sports and FFA. After graduation he attended college briefly before spending his summers working on the farm and his winters working on oil rigs.
In 1974 he married Lois Mulligan. They soon welcomed a son, Josh, and in 1975 a daughter, April. They later divorced.
He met his loving partner of 34 years, Brenda, in 1988. In 1989 they welcomed a daughter, Timbree, and in 1990 a son, Wesley.
Tim enjoyed watching his children playing sports and showing animals in 4-H, raising livestock and quarter horses, and fishing and hunting with his sons, brother and friends. He spent many years farming with his brother and two sons. He had a passion for farming and wildlife preservation. Tim loved fast cars and liked to say, “We sure were wild when we were young.”
Tim loved when his grandsons Hudson and Weston would visit. Tim and Hudson spent their time together talking about farming and trucks.
He is survived by his partner Brenda; his four children Josh (Teresa) Clark of Casper, WY, April Clark-Propp of Tacoma, WA, Timbree (Warren) Brown of Casper, WY, and Wesley Clark of Worland, WY; his two grandsons Hudson and Weston; his brother Tom (Connie) Clark and sister Teresa (Tim) Werner; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank Bentley and Frances as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2023. Arrangements are under the direction of Newcomer Casper.
Gene A. Long: December 8, 1944 – November 25, 2022
Gene Long, 77, passed away at his home in Casper, Wyoming, on November 25, 2022, following many months of heart issues.
He was born in Milliken, Colorado, the ninth-born child to Walter Cleveland and Flora Pearl (Robertson) Long. In 1952, the family relocated to Noel, Missouri, where he resided until age 17, when he moved to Wyoming to be near his brothers.
First and foremost, Gene was a Child of God, believing in his Savior Jesus Christ. Gene served God in many ways, inside and outside his home church, Trinity Lutheran Church. He especially enjoyed the years he was able to sing in the choir and/or play guitar to glorify God. He and his brothers and sisters sang before the congregation in his childhood church in Missouri.
He was gifted with musical talent. At preschool age, Gene was given a ukulele for Christmas. He began teaching himself to play. He became an accomplished guitarist in the style of Les Paul and Chet Atkins. He played lead guitar and sang publicly in various bands beginning as a teenager in Missouri and later in the Casper area.
He also had a gift of conversation, had a wonderful sense of humor, and enjoyed many visits with others over a broad range of subjects. He was scholarly, loved to read and was constantly learning, especially the history of the nation, the world and Biblical history. Historical dates and numbers were easy for him to recall.
Gene met Deanna Bauer in Casper in 1966, and the two recently celebrated 55 years of marriage, all spent in Casper. During their years of marriage, they were blessed with their son Vaughn and daughter Natalie.
He retired from a sales position in 2007. That following year, he began a building project of a mountain home, built with love, where many years of memories have been made with family and friends. Seeing his beloved grandchildren enjoy being together at the cabin was worth every minute of construction.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Desmond, Roland, Ralph, Donald, Odell, and Walter.
He is survived by his wife Deanna; son Vaughn (Kristie); daughter Natalie Boehnke (Scott); grandchildren Alex Long (Shelby), Myah Rivera (Julian), Jaxon Boehnke, and Bridger Boehnke; brother Joel (Wanda) (Ohio); sister Jowana Gibson (Washington); and sister Patricia Kent (Scott) (Wyoming).
A Christian funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church at 1240 S. Missouri in Casper, WY at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022.
