Robert Edward “Rob” Dobler Jr: 1962 – 2022
A Celebration of Life for Robert Edward “Rob” Dobler Jr., 60, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Racca’s, 430 South Ash Street, Casper, Wyoming.
Rob Dobler passed away at his home in Glenrock, Wyoming on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 of natural causes.
He was born Friday, March 9, 1962 in Elgin, Illinois the son of Judith Loretta (Sterba)and Robert Edward Dobler Sr. He received his education in Naperville, Illinois and graduated from high school in 1980. Rob moved to Laramie, Wyoming and attended Wyo Tech. He married Tammy Ann Lohmann on January 2, 1981 in Laramie.
Rob and Bruce Kopperud owned and operated Comtronix in Casper for 33 years. He had retired two months ago.
He enjoyed doing wood work, listening to 70’s rock music, loved his 1962 Ford Falcon, and spending time with family at his home. Rob had great camaraderie with his fellow employees.
Rob is survived by his wife, Tammy Dobler, of Glenrock; children, Lonny Dobler (Danielle (Lovato) and Laura Dobler (Ben Fentress) all of Cheyenne, Wyoming; parents, Robert and Judith Dobler of Emerald Isle, North Carolina; sister, Debra Dobler of Chicago, Illinois; and grandchildren, Willem Dobler, Jaxon Dobler, Grey Dobler, Maile Lovato, and Tatum Lovato.
