Paula Barbara Kraushaar

Paula Barbara Kraushaar: February 1, 1952 – February 3, 2023

The Lord above gained another Saint on February 3rd, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at home. Paula Barbara Kraushaar was born on February 1st, 1952, to Carl and Cecelia Hayn of Kampsville, Illinois.  She grew up in a large loving family with 3 brothers and 7 sisters.

Paula married Roger Kraushaar on October 8th, 1970, in Eldred, Illinois. They moved their family to Thermopolis, Wyoming in 1983. Paula raised three children: Dawn, Roger, and Jason.

Paula worked in the health care field and Big Horn Enterprises for many years when she lived in Thermopolis. Paula enjoyed helping and caring for people and often patients and clients would turn into lifelong friends. When she moved to Casper, she started working with DC Electric motors. Paula was defined as the hardest working woman by all the guys working at the shop.

She loved her faith and was a devout Catholic. When Paula retired, she loved that she had more time to spend serving at the church.  Paula enjoyed all of her church friends and the coffee dates she had with them. She especially loved the interactions and connections she was able to have with all Priests and Fathers. One of greatest joy’s was a trip to the Holy Land where she got to walk in the footsteps of Jesus and Mary.

In her free time, she loved spending time in her yard and garden. Picking fruit to make jelly and applesauce for family and friends. She loved spending time with her family, cooking lunch or baking treats for them. She loved playing with her great grandchildren and swinging on the hammock, or just spending time with her family in her yard.

Paula is survived by her husband, three children, ten grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, her three sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents, her brothers, 4 sisters, a grandson, and a granddaughter.

A Rosary will be held at Our Lady of Fatima at 1:00pm, followed by a funeral mass at Our Lady of Fatima on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 2:00pm. Paula asked that there be no flowers at her service. If you would like Paula asks that you make a donation in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or any charity serving children.


Barbara A. Evans

Barbara A. Evans: June 21, 1933 – February 6, 2023

Barbara Ann Evans (Humbel) 89 of Casper, Wyoming passed away on February 6th, 2023. She was born in Kaycee, Wyoming to Dorothy (Fleming) and Bill Humbel on June 21, 1933. She was a homemaker and sold Avon for a number of years with numerous awards. She enjoyed her beautiful backyard, her many grandchildren and great grandchildren and traveling to all her husbands job locations. You could always count on her giving you her honest opinion. 

 Barbara is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) of Casper, sister Berdena, sister Dolores,  sister Billie Jean, brother Jerry (Tori) , daughters Terri Busch of Salt Lake City, Donna Hennings of Casper, Dani Amodei of Powell, Pepper (Mark) Whitt of Thermopolis, Roanna Key of Rapid City, and Kirsti (Gary) Jeffers of Casper, 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Danny, husband Alvin Amodei, husband Shorty Key, grandson Brock, granddaughter Karlee Kate, grandson Kailan, grandson Easton, grandson AJ, great grand daughter Kadence.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Mon. Feb. 13, 2023 at Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home. Pastor Bryan Elliott will officiate.


Judi A. Mair

Judi A. Mair: March 7, 1953 – February 3, 2023

Judi Ann Mair, age 69, of Casper, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2023.

Judi was born to Eber and Dorothy Hardenbrook in Alliance, Nebraska on March 7, 1953.  Judi enjoyed softball, bowling, scrapbooking and painting. She and her husband Ernie sponsored the Special Olympics at CNFR every year.

She loved her corgis, traveling to Alaska and spending her winters in Arizona, but her love was for her family, which she cherished above anything else.  

Judi is proceeded in death by her parents and husband.  She is survived by her daughter Kathy Pack, sisters Debbie Rohrer (Jim Rohrer), Jackie Miller (Gary Miller), Dianna Moser (Mike Moser) and numerous extended family.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thurs. Feb. 9, 2023 at Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sat. Feb. 18, 2023 at Grace Bible Baptist Church.


Adrian S. Soper

Adrian S. Soper: November 4, 1960 – February 2, 2023

A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Wed. Feb. 8, 2023 at Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will take place from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Fri. Feb. 10, 2023 at the Elk’s Lodge in Casper.


Amberlea Elizabeth Soper: January 18, 1979 – February 4, 2023

Amberlea Elizabeth Soper, age 44, of Casper, Wyoming passed away February 4, 2023. Amberlea was born January 18, 1979 to Adrian Steven Soper and Virginia Lee Lummus in Casper, Wyoming.

Amberlea was preceded in passing by her father, Adrian Steven Soper.

Amberlea is survived by her daughter, Tianna Thorpe, her mother, Virginia, and her two siblings, Adam Soper and Melanie Harmon.

A Celebration of Life will take place from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Fri. Feb. 10, 2023 at the Elk’s Lodge in Casper.
