Dear Casper,

This winter we have had several pretty good snow storms which has made the city streets harder to manage.

City crews plow to the center creating huge piles. In the past, city crews would then go down center line and remove the huge piles. This year I would say they gave up picking up snow.

I called the city and asked why this has not been done. Crew shortage, normally 25, now only about 15 is the answer. If you look at job openings for the city, I don’t see this job posted.

The piles in the middle of the road have become a real hazard. Please encourage the city to hire more crew, at least post the job.
