Dancing With the Stars of Casper Adds Surprise Raffle to Evening of Fun

Money may not be able to buy happiness, but it CAN buy Dancing with the Stars of Casper tickets, and that’s pretty close! Join Mercer Family Resource Center on October 28th, 2017 at 6:00pm at the Casper Events Center for a night of laughter, dancing, food and fun at their 7th annual fundraising event.

All the proceeds at Dancing with the Stars of Casper benefit the mission of Mercer Family Resource Center (Mercer FRC).  Mercer FRC provides education, counseling, and prevention services that build stronger and healthier youth and families in the community.

So what happiness will an $80 ticket to Dancing with the Stars of Casper buy?  All tickets include exclusive seats to this once in a lifetime, special themed show – Pas de Deux Amore, to watch six celebrity couples perform a dance choreographed by a professional. Attendees will enjoy a delightful three-course meal (don’t worry, that’s including an assortment of cheesecakes for dessert). And, SURPRISE, everyone who attends gets one free raffle-ticket to win a San Diego Adventure for four! Patrons will also get the opportunity to purchase additional tickets for $50 to increase their odds of winning, and bid on other silent and live auction packages.

The purchase of one ticket provides an Anger Management, Corrective Thinking, Insight II, Something for Nothing, or Tobacco Education class for a young person, where 93.1% of youth reported being more likely to use positive coping skills to handle life challenges. 95.8% reported that the issue, situation, or feelings that brought them to Mercer FRC had improved. 98.7% of youth reported being more informed about healthy alternative to substance use.

Funds raised from the sale of tickets also enable parents to take an education class, where last year 100% reported their family conflict and communication had improved. Past clients who have been helped by Mercer FRC say things like:

  • “Thank you guys for being who you are. Without your guys my family would not be where we are now, and we continue to row in a positive way simply because I made a visit over two years ago.”
  • “It’s a helpful way to learn about your anger and how to help it, and talking to other students.”
  • “Mercer is important to me because it’s another family to me! I can speak my mind and not get judged.”
  • “Mercer Family Resource Center is a resource my family can lean on to be a better unit together.  Our community, as a whole, is better with Mercer because it teaches skills that can be used in all situations, especially the difficult situations.”

Mercer FRC programs are proactive, impactful, and accessible to anyone in the community!
