The Table hosts Casper’s third annual summer solar festival when Solabration kicks off on the Bart Rea Learning Circle in Amoco Park.

The Learning Circle was built to honor the legacy of Casper’s own, Bart Rea, and his kindness in helping to create the Platte River Trails Trust. The Solabration celebrates the best of Casper in summertime: sunshine, community, music, and wellness.

This year’s main event is storyteller and internationally renowned author, don Jose Ruiz, son of don Miguel Ruiz, author of the New York Times bestseller, The Four Agreements. don Jose is a direct descendant of the Toltecs of the Eagle Night lineage and the author of The Fifth Agreement and Ripples of Wisdom, among others. He will share stories about the Mexican Toltec tradition, and the ways this applies to our lives today. You will not want to miss this spellbinding story-teller on his first visit to Wyoming. There will be three opportunities to hear him. Please see for details and tickets.

Solabration always features great bands. Headlining act, Banshee Tree of Boulder, CO, boast a surprisingly original and enticing mix of gypsy jazz, folk pop and swing. Opening for Banshee Tree is the local Red Butte Band, bringing music reminiscent of depression-era songs and the folk and blues revivals of the 1960’s. They offer their own brand of High Country Americana tunes that are quickly making their mark with listeners both locally and beyond. For kids of all ages, Solarbration is proud to partner with The Science Zone who will bring interactive solar stations to the mix.
