Donate Life Wyoming Scavenger Hunt “Honor. Celebrate. Recognize.”

We are excited to announce the first annual Donate Life Wyoming Scavenger Hunt to honor the lives of organ and tissue donors, celebrate the lives of transplant recipients and recognize those who continue to wait for a lifesaving transplant. 

Aiming to raise awareness and support for organ, eye and tissue donation in Wyoming, this event is the first of its kind in the national Donate Life community and Donor Alliance is proud to start this adventure in Casper, Wyoming

The Donate Life Wyoming Scavenger Hunt will be from 9:30am – 12pm on September 21, 2019. It will begin and end at the David Street Station; with the new Donate Life Forest across the street at The Lyric.

The event is a morning of fun for the entire family with participants challenged with solving puzzles and gathering clues throughout downtown Casper.  Registration is only $10 and prizes will be awarded during a post-hunt celebration! 

The Donate Life Wyoming Scavenger Hunt is a wonderful celebratory opportunity for all Wyomingites to consider signing up to give the gift of life as organ, eye and tissue donors.

Why is it important to sign up as organ, eye and tissue donor? 

It saves lives; the lives of people right here in our community. 

How many people are waiting in Wyoming for a transplant?

  1. Nearly 150 people in Wyoming are waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant – including some children and infants and thousands more wait for healing tissue transplants.
  2. Nationwide there are nearly 115,000 people waiting for a lifesaving transplant. That’s enough to fill War Memorial Stadium almost 4 times!

How do you sign up as an organ, eye and tissue donor? 

Check Yes at Driver Services or go online anytime at DonateLifeWyoming.org. 

Do a lot of Wyomingites sign up as donors?

  1. Wyomingites are incredibly generous and consistently have some of the highest donor designation rates in the country. Right now 60% of Wyoming adults have signed up as donors, placing Wyoming in the top ten in the nation!
