CASPER, Wyo. — Registration is now open for the 4th annual Be Kind to Your Mind 5K/10K/Family Fun Run and Obstacle Course. The event will be held at Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park Saturday, June 13th beginning at 7:00am.
The Iris Clubhouse is a working community for adults, 18 and over, who are diagnosed with a significant mental illness. It is a restorative environment for people who have had their lives drastically disrupted and need the support of others who believe that recovery from mental illness is possible.

This year’s theme is “Dino Dash” and the t-shirts and medals are promised to make great collector items.
The Be Kind to Your Mind 5K/10K/Family Fun Run and Obstacle Course is annually hosted by Wyoming Behavioral Institute. Other sponsors include the Wyoming State Parks, McMurry Foundation, Wyoming Medical Center, and Chad Lore.
Sensational Kids also co-sponsors the event and constructs an exciting obstacle course for kids at the conclusion of the run. The obstacle course is free for all participants and certificates of completion will be awarded at the end. Walkers, strollers and pets on leashes are all welcome.
There is also a virtual race option for those that are unable to to make it the day of the event. Register to run or walk on your own time and the organizers will send you a bib, medal, and t-shirt when you email a photo of yourself making strides.
