My number one goal as Natrona County Coroner is to be as open and honest in office as possible. That starts with my campaign. I wish to provide as much information about my experience as I can. This is my current resume with verifiable dates of employment and education. I’m happy to answer any and all questions.

To be elected as Natrona County Coroner  

More than 25 years experience conducting more than 1000 Death Investigations involving single and multiple decedents in varying stages of decomposition; Knowledge of probable causes of death under various circumstances, Experience effectively applying rules of evidence, and performing investigations to determine cause and manner of death; Over 25 years experience assisting on autopsies and obtaining evidence, blood, and body fluids to submit for analysis; 25 plus years experience observing death scenes, taking accurate notes, and composing accurate reports involving large amounts of information on multiple decedents

Hands on experience interpreting, applying and explaining complex regulations, policies and services, independently solving problems, performing liaison activities; Experience handling confidential records and releasing information in accordance with applicable laws and policy; Hands on experience budgeting agency funds in a conservative fashion; Skill locating and identifying legal next of kin. 

More than 20 years experience coordinating activities with Medical staff at all levels; Hands on experience dealing with patients to resolve problems, and assisting physicians and nurses with Medical procedures; Skill handling records requests, performing materials inventory, scanning and filing documents, and assisting with medically related inquiries  

Demonstrated history of providing superior customer service and dealing effectively with individuals and groups under stressful circumstances and from a variety of cultures; Over 25 years experience providing comfort and assistance to people grieving death and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and other agency staff 

Ten plus years experience reading, writing, and interpreting Medical Terminology, filing Medical documents, forms, and records; Experience working in a Hospital  with Medical staff at all levels; Skill conferring with Police, family members, insurance investigators, lawyers, and members of the media; Experience using photographic equipment and photographing death and crime scenes  

Experience interviewing suspects, witnesses, and victims; preparing cases for trial and testifying in misdemeanor and felony court as well as Grand Juries and administrative hearings. Over 25 years experience composing accurate and comprehensive reports and documents as well as filing them; Hands on experience prioritizing and organizing work, greeting the public under stressful circumstances; Skilled at compiling felony and civil court cases for presentation to the judiciary
