Who will our panel of celebrity judges choose? Wyoming Symphony Orchestra Music Director, Christopher Dragon will likely be listening for his favorite Broadway musical. Wyoming Family Practice Dr. Cindy Works hopes to see a number from the Sound of Music and looks forward to wearing a dazzling mask at the judges’ booth. She said she has treasured her experience with this event as a former contestant and appreciates the assistance Mercer FRC provides her patients.

Summit Medical Center Anesthesiologist, Dr. Matt Swan said he was inspired to be part of this worthy endeavor, and while he was initially asked to be part of the dancing side his time restrictions relegated him to judge others! Self Help Center Executive Director, Jen Dyer said Mercer FRC is near and dear to her heart, both as a community partner and former employee. By her own assessment she thinks she is an amazing dancer, she joked that her friends might disagree and perhaps Mercer was correct in keeping her out of the stage spotlight.

Rising Star Dance Studio’s own Melissa Mazzei took home the trophy for the Judge’s Choice last year! She said her participation in the event was nothing short of life-changing. When she watches a dance performance, the story conveyed is paramount to the technique.
