Megan Beddes grew up in St. George, Utah. Her mother was a teacher who showed her what an amazing career it could be.
In third grade, Megan had a teacher who she felt was not providing her students with a quality learning environment. She knew right then that she would be a teacher who created a loving and caring environment for her students.
Megan started taking education courses in high school. After high school, she attended Utah State University, Dixie State University, Casper College, and, ultimately, University of Wyoming at Casper.
Megan’s husband’s love for Wyoming, combined with the onsite education program at the University of Wyoming at Casper, persuaded them to settle in Casper.
Megan’s advice for anyone wanting to pursue the education program at the University of Wyoming at Casper is “to listen to your professors. I have had many instructors from many different schools, but the instruction that I have received at this school is phenomenal. The professors here care about their students and will do anything to help them succeed.”
