Every January, when the bitterness of a Wyoming winter almost settles in and locals renew, 5150’ Restaurant Week takes over Casper. You see, in this town Restaurant Week has become so much more than great deals and tasty offerings — it’s simply tradition. And this year, we’re going all in on celebrating and reveling in the 5150’s up-and-coming foodie scene January 23 – 29, 2022.

For those of you who have never participated in 5150’ Restaurant Week before, allow us to spill the tea. Restaurant Week is made up of seven days dedicated to supporting local eateries all while indulging in an epic city-wide menu together as a community. We partner up with Casper-owned restaurants, coffee shops, breweries and more to bring a taste of Casper to the people at three different price points: $3.07 (Wyoming’s area code), $18.90 (the year Wyoming became a state) and $51.50 (well… for obvious reasons). Whether you’re craving an old favorite or are daring enough to finally go out and try something new, this is the season for you to savor the legendary flavors of the West.

We are excited to announce that this year we have more participating establishments than EVER before. From Casper staples like Silver Fox Steakhouse and Metro Coffee Co. to the cool new kids on the block like Crav-a-Bowl and Black Tooth Brewery, the tasting options are truly endless. Restaurant Week goers will be able to view the city-wide menu from their smartphones and curate their own restaurant tour as they desire.

For example, start your morning with a latte and a piece of homemade Baklava from Sweet Zoey’s for $3.07, splurge for a lunch date at HQ BBQ with a pound of their tender, smoked brisket and a pint of one of their delicious sides for $18.90 or take someone special out for a dinner for two at Silver Fox where they are boasting two 8-ounce bacon-wrapped baseball sirloins with a mushroom demi-glace (includes scalloped potatoes and bananas foster for dessert) for $51.50. Better yet, if you already have a full fridge of groceries, at least opt for a $3.07 pint from one of your favorite local breweries for happy hour! No matter your craving, we promise that you are bound to find your perfect pairing during 5150’ Restaurant Week!

So what are you waiting for, locals? Download your free pass (no app needed!) and stay tuned with us over on Instagram and Facebook @5150local as we count down to the launch of the tastiest week of the year!
